For restaurant owners
Is this really us?
How to check.
Restaurants get a lot of fake messages. If we contacted you, here is how to know it is really UK Food Spot, and what we will never ask for.
We will never ask you for
- ✕Your password, or a login or verification code
- ✕Bank details, card details or any payment
- ✕To click a link to "verify", "unlock" or "protect" your account
- ✕To install an app or give us access to your social media
If a message says it is from UK Food Spot and asks for any of these, it is not us. Please tell us at [email protected].
What we do ask
- ✓"Is this dish and price right?" A reply of "yes" is enough.
- ✓If you like, a better dish to feature or a photo of your own.
How to check a message is from us
- Email: only from an address ending in @ukfoodspot.co.uk, usually [email protected].
- Instagram: only from @ukfoodspot.
- Not sure? Ignore the message and write to [email protected] yourself. Or search for your restaurant on our guide.
Our rules
- Being listed is free: £0, 0% commission, nothing to sign. Customers pay you directly.
- Places cannot pay to be listed or to rank higher.
- If we ever add paid extras, they will be optional and clearly labelled "Sponsored".
- We remove a listing whenever the owner asks.
- We never sell or share your contact details. See our privacy notice.
Who we are
UK Food Spot is a small UK team with one aim: to help small independent food businesses get found. Every listing is checked by a working chef. Read more about us, or see how listing works.
